LITERACY

We believe strong literacy skills open doors not just in the classroom, but in life. â€‹

Our Literacy program focuses on reading, writing, speaking and listening. Students will learn to read with confidence and comprehension, express themselves clearly through writing, and communicate effectively with others.

We use a structured approach to support all learners - from early phonics and reading development, to advanced comprehension and creative writing.

Our goal is to help every student become a confident communicator, a thoughtful reader, and a lifelong lover of language.

MATHEMATICS

Our maths program is designed to help every child become a confident and capable problem solver. We make maths meaningful by connecting it to everyday life and encouraging students to explore, question, and discover.

Through engaging, hands-on activities, students build an understanding of key mathematical concepts including, but not limited to, counting, multiplication, measurement and geometry.

With the benefit of a small class sizes, our teachers can provide targeted support and extension, ensuring every child is challenged at the right level.

SCIENCE

Science is all about curiosity, discovery and hands-on learning. We encourage students to explore the world around them by asking questions, making observations, and experimenting like real scientists.

To enrich our science curriculum, we also welcome a specialised science group that visits our school for exciting incursions. These sessions give students the chance to dive deeper into scientific concepts through interactive demonstrations and hands on experiments.

Students regularly explore our school grounds to investigate life cycles, ecosystems, plant growth and more. Nature becomes our classroom and students observe, question and experiment in real-world settings.

ARTS

At TSPS, creativity is not just encouraged, it’s nurtured in every classroom. We believe that creative expression plays a vital role in a child’s development, which is why our students are exposed to a wide range of creative disciplines, including visual art, theatre, and music.

Our art program invites students to explore their imagination through hands-on activities that develop both skill and self-expression. Whether they’re experimenting with paint, sculpture, collage, or mixed media, students are given the freedom to create, problem-solve, and bring their unique ideas to life.

In music, students are encouraged to try new instruments, explore rhythm and melody, and work together to perform pieces. These lessons build confidence, support emotional wellbeing, and help students discover new talents in a supportive and fun environment.

Through theatre, students also have opportunities to build confidence, storytelling skills, and collaboration - all while having fun and stepping into new roles.

HEALTH AND PE

Our Health and Physical Education program supports students to develop physical skills, teamwork, resilience, and an understanding of their own health and wellbeing.

From team sports and challenges to outdoor games and adventures, every child is encouraged to participate, try their best, and enjoy being active.

Health lessons focus on making positive choices, understanding emotions, building respectful relationships, and learning how to care for our bodies and minds.

We hope to instil in students lifelong habits for their physical, social and emotional wellbeing.

LANGUAGE

Our students have the exciting opportunity to learn Indonesian as part of our Language Program. We believe that learning another language opens minds, builds cultural awareness, and strengthens communication skills.

Our Indonesian lessons are fun, interactive and filled with songs, games, stories and conversations that help students build vocabulary and confidence. Through exploring language, students also learn about Indonesian culture, traditions, and daily life - broadening their understanding of the world.

Learning a second language supports literacy, memory, and problem-solving, and encourages students to appreciate and respect different perspectives.

DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY

We prepare students for the future by helping them become confident, creative, and responsible users of technology.

We integrate technology across the curriculum to enhance learning and give students the opportunity to think critically, collaborate, and express their ideas in new and innovative formats. Currently, students use technology to create multimedia presentations, edit videos and do their own research for projects.

With a strong focus on digital safety and ethical use, we ensure that students understand how to navigate the online world with care and responsibility.

FREE PLAY

At TSPS, we understand the importance of unstructured play and the powerful role nature plays in a child's development. Surrounded by beautiful natural spaces, our students are given regular opportunities to explore, create, and play freely outdoors.

Free play in nature allows children to use their imagination, build resilience, solve problems, and develop strong social skills. Whether it's climbing on the play equipment, playing with the chickens or collecting natural treasures, these experiences support physical, emotional and cognitive growth.

We believe that nature is one of the best classrooms, and being outdoors helps children connect with the environment, develop a sense of wonder, and grow into confident, capable learners.
